The mission of the High School of Creative and Performing Arts is to nurture the creative talents and aspirations of our students within an academic/arts college preparatory program. In a multicultural environment, we provide a comprehensive and sequenced program of study in the six arts disciplines - creative writing, dance, drama, instrumental music, vocal music, and visual arts, as well as rigorous pre-college academic instruction across the curriculum. Our graduates will demonstrate a mastery of defined skills that will enable them to be productive, self-directed, lifelong learners, who appreciate and respect diversity.
Dear Parents/Guardians:
We have just been informed that there will be (2) afternoon additions to our report card conferences. In addition to the evening conference on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, there will also be an afternoon conference on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 and Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. The students will be dismissed at 12:00 noon on both days. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
